The 4th Annual Indiana Peony Festival will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024 and will have approximately 20 floral display areas throughout Seminary Park, 10th Street and in Downtown Noblesville. We’re seeking florists of all experiences and backgrounds to help adorn these areas crucial to the success of the Indiana Peony Festival. The festival succeeds when our florists succeed!

The applicants chosen will be given a key area in the festival footprint to display your creativity and showcase your business.  All types of floral displays are welcome for submission — there are opportunities for centerpieces all the way up to large displays showcased throughout the festival.

Florists will be permitted to construct their displays on Friday, May 17th from 12 to 5 pm for the Seminary Park area and on Saturday, May 18th from 6-9am for displays along 10th street and in downtown Noblesville. IPF (Indiana Peony Festival) will be providing the peonies for the displays.

Rules & Guidelines

Installation/Deinstallation Guidelines

  1. Park Installations will be on Friday May 17 from 12– 5:30pm. Downtown Alley and 10th street décor will be installed Saturday morning from 6:00 to 9:00

  2. PARKING info will be based on your installation and will be provided via email closer to the festival.

  3. IPF committee members and volunteers will be around to assist on Friday and Saturday.

  4. Water is not convenient for all installations so bring your own,

  5. All designs need to be watered and refreshed the morning of the Festival, Saturday May 18 by a member of the design team or designated representative before 9 am.

  6. Once your installation is complete, please pick up all the trash and tidy the area before you leave. Any items left behind that are not part of the design will be removed.

  7. Deinstallation will begin immediately following the festival at 4pm.  Any design not removed by 5:30 pm on the day of the festival will be disposed of by a member of the committee and the Indiana Peony Festival is not responsible for stolen or lost equipment.

  1. General Guidelines.

    1. IPF will provide a specific number of peonies for each installation based on the size of the area. The peonies will need to be picked up from Kennicott in Indianapolis or downtown Noblesville.  Each designer will be responsible for all additional peonies, flowers, greenery materials and supplies needed to execute their design plan.

    2. Dried and artificial materials are permitted sparingly.  We would like to see 80% fresh.

    3. If your installation requires any anchoring and requires more than zip ties or 3M hooks, you must get approval. No cling, glue, screws, or waterproof floral tape without approval.

    4. Spray paint or paint of any kind is not permitted to be used at the festival at any time.

  2. Marketing

    1. Signs will be installed at each installation.  These signs will be made to promote your business that will include QR codes.  We do not recommend using your own signs by the displays.  It takes away from the beauty of your display and the ability for it to showcase well on social media.

    2. Each floral designer will be showcased on our website along with their designs.

    3. Instagram posts will promote the 2024 final floral designers.

    4. As much as possible we will tag floral designers when we use images of their designs.  If you find that you have not been tagged in a post, please bring it to our attention.

    5. We will also have a peoples choice award this year – stay tunned for additional details.
