The location for the 2021 IPF (Indiana Peony Festival) will be at Seminary Park, 350 S 10th Street, Noblesville IN 46060. 

Registration to Sell

All vendors must have signed the agreement and paid fee’s prior to the festival.

Space Reservation

Spaces are assigned by the festival committee and are assigned by vendor category. Vendors must be set up by 10:30. The festival will begin at 11:00am and end at 4:00 pm. Set up hours begin at 8:00 am. All vendors must vacate the property by 5:00 pm. The festival will be held rain or shine. See below for Weather Policy. 

Booth specifications and cost

Vendor space is considered a 10 ft. x 10 ft. space. There will be no electrical hook ups available or water. No staked tents, weight use only. 10 ft. x 10 ft. space is $100.  Vendor is responsible for bringing their own set up, (eg. tent, table and supplies).

Method of Payment

Checks are to be made out to Indiana Peony Festival Inc. Once Vendor Form is completed an invoice will be emailed to you and can be paid via check or credit card. Payments must arrive within 10 days of when vendor application is submitted. 

Compliance with Health and Safety and related laws

Vendors and their employees are responsible for informing themselves about and complying with federal, state and local health regulations and licensing requirements governing the production, display, distribution, sampling and sale of their products. If vendors offer samples of processed or non-processed items from their booth, all Health Department rules and regulations apply. All vendors selling wine and spirits must follow rules outlined by the Alcohol and Beverage Commission. IPF is not responsible for non-compliance fines, seizure or other penalties imposed by a regulating body.

Sales Tax

All plants, flowers and other non-food items sold in Indiana are subject to sales tax. It is the responsibility of each vendor to obtain a Registered Retail Merchants Certificate.

Indemnification

Food and product vendors must have their own general liability insurance. Certificates of Insurance are due when the application is submitted. The policy must be for a minimum of $1,000,000 coverage, which is the basic policy. Certificates of Insurance must be emailed to kelly@kitindy.com or mailed to 7161 Oakview Circle, Noblesville, IN 46062 prior to the day of the festival. The producer or vendor is solely responsible for damages resulting from the sale of unsafe or unsound goods, in addition to any accidents occurred while at the festival. Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Indiana Peony Festival Inc., City of Noblesville, its employees and volunteers from all liability, loss or damages which maybe incurred because of all claims, demands, costs, judgements or expenses including attorney’s fees, arising from the producer’s participation in the market. 

Application

This is an application form. Filling out and submitting the form does not guarantee you will be able to participate in the festival. Each application is reviewed by the IPF committee. Vendors are selected by type of products sold. Our goal is to offer a variety of goods and vendors. If you are not accepted as a vendor by IPF, then you will receive a full refund via check. Otherwise, vendor fees will not be refundable.

Grievances

If a vendor has a problem at the market, the vendor should first discuss the problem with an IPF board member. If the vendor is not satisfied with a solution, you may put in writing your grievance and mail it to IPF festival, 7161 Oakview Circle, Noblesville, IN 46062. The grievance will be reviewed by the committee and the committee shall issue a written response to the vendor of its decision within thirty days of receipt of the written grievance. 

Weather Policy

The Indiana Peony Festival will be held rain or shine, unless severe weather is forecasted. Our severe weather reschedule date is Sunday May 23rd. If the festival is cancelled on both days vendor fees will go towards next year’s festival. The rescheduling will be announced two to three days prior to the festival.
